Renée Markert
Hi! I am Miss Renée. I am the Director of Children’s Garden Christian Preschool. I graduated from Rowan University with a BA in Elementary Education and English. My husband and I have two children who attended The Children’s Garden, and a German Shepherd named Bolt. Before having my children I was an elementary school teacher for 9 years.
When I’m not at school you can often find me at the soccer fields. I love to go to the beach, family vacations, travel, and read.
Joanne Kirschner
Hello! My name is Miss Joanne and I am the Assistant Director and a Pre-K teacher here at Children’s Garden. I am a graduate of Rowan University. I am dual certified through the State of New Jersey in both Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I have been teaching for over 25 years.
I love all things Disney, Target and Christmas.
Tanoa Dantinne
I am Miss Tanoa. I have been teaching at the Children’s Garden Christian Preschool for over 30 years. I have a Liberal Arts degree and continuing education course work in Creative Play. I have two children and one granddaughter that went to Children’s Garden. Natalie, Mark and Madeline. I have a dog named Andre.
I love to swim in my pool. We are going to have a lot of fun learning and playing together.
Stephanie Ashenfelter
Hi! I am Miss Stephanie. I love to teach! I have been working with children for many years. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a degree in Early Childhood Administration. I have two daughters. My oldest, Alexa, came to Children’s Garden for preschool and Pre-K. I also have a toddler named Eliana who will one day join our school family. We have a rambunctious dog named Benny!
You can often find our family walking the boardwalk or playing at the park.
Colleen Kuzniasz
Hi! I’m Miss Colleen. I went to Rowan to get my teaching certification. I’ve worked in multiple schools, and I found my happy place at the Children’s Garden when my own boys came through here. It’s a slice of heaven on Earth, and I look forward to greeting many adorable faces this school year!
